Consumer Advice
Remember to use SUNSENSE when you are playing outdoor sports. You should even apply SUNSENSE before washing the car or gardening.
SUNSENSE should be applied to clean, dry skin, 15 minutes before exposure to the sun. This allows the sunscreen to bond to the skin.
Use SUNSENSE during high altitude activities such as skiing and mountain climbing. High altitudes increase the risk of sunburn, because there is less atmosphere to absorb the suns rays.
When out in the sun apply SUNSENSE to all exposed areas of the skin, wear a broad rimmed hat and a t-shirt of closely woven material.
All sunscreens wear off the skin with normal usage, so re-apply SUNSENSE at least every 2 hours and after swimming, exercise, heavy perspiration and toweling dry.
Apply SUNSENSE on overcast days. The suns rays can damage you skin on cloudy days too.
Dont just wear SUNSENSE in summer. The sun shines all year round and can damage your skin even during winter.
